Boxes and Flowers

I’ve been working on this image periodically over the last couple of weeks. Playing around with the cropping, vibrance, saturation, and so forth. Also, trying to remove the taillight in the right-hand corner since it is distracting. Things just weren’t working out.

So, a few minutes ago, I just hit the Reset button. Did a small bit of cropping, turned-up the clarity and contrast a wee bit, did the same for shadows, and that was it.

Anyway, here it is. And, no, I don’t know the names of these flowers, either.

  1. great colors and contrasts of flowers and rusted boxes. i was at the santa fe opera tonight and saw eleanor and carolyn from dallas and eleanor (who is in her 80’s) spoke about the joy she feels each day as she receives notice of one of your photos…how special they are and how much she is learning.

  2. Robs, I have always loved the contrast of glamorous fashion models posed on old junk cars. You got that here! Lush flowers and rusty old boxes- I LOVE it!
