Peeling Noodles


Taken at the back of a restaurant near my apartment building. Dough is kneaded into a large loaf, which is then peeled via a hand-held grater  into a kettle of boiling water.  The kettle is atop a coal-fired stove (you can see two rounds of coal next to the stove).


  1. That is fascinating. I never would have thought of doing it that way. Or rounds of coal instead of lumps of coal. Your eye is so interesting!
