A Dinner in Tokyo

Saturday was Shanshan’s birthday, so I thought it would be nice to take her to a good restaurant (she being a lover of fine Japanese food and all). Luckily there was such a restaurant located a bit away from the hotel. We were there for an hour and a half, as one delicious dish after another was prepared for us. Now, I’m not a foodie of any sort, let alone Japanese food, but this shabu-shabu was some of the best food I’ve ever had (the wife also had the same opinion).

The waitress was extremely patient with me as I chronicled the meal from start to finish (with the D300/14 mm combo).
