Rooftop Dragon

Taken in the Forbidden City in March of 2006 during my first trip to China. One of nice things about lugging around a prime 300 mm is being able to get shots like this one.

I cropped it down quite a bit yesterday, and did some other tweaks with Lightroom.

As usual, click on the image to see a larger version.

I’ll be posting some additional dragon pics from the same trip tomorrow.

    1. Thanks. Sorry, I don’t remember. It was in 2006, and without geo-tagging. I do think it was on one of the major buildings (if that helps any).

  1. Thanks. My editing skills have certainly improved much in the last six years (thanks for your input).

Only the body is touching the roof, so with the claws raised, it does feel like the dragon is flying.
